Hi! My name is Apollo and I am a 1 year old, 50 lb., black/white, male, Pit Bull. My foster mom says to tell you that I am current on heartworm prevention, vaccinations and have been neutered. She says that because of my breed and the bad things that can happen, a 3-5 year vet reference will be required. I want to tell you that I am just great! I love everyone, everything and am so sweet! I am excellent in the house, completely housebroken and never tear anything up. I was found running as a stray, picked up by a veterinary clinic and adopted out once. But that was horrible and they put me in a truck bed and let me fall out! Now I am with this great foster family who promised to heal my wounds and take really good care of me. Well….guess what? I am all healed up, doing great and they kept their promise. My only downfall is that I do not like to share my food. I am much better than when I got here, but I still do not like musical food bowls. Other than that, I will make the best dog you could ever imagine. I love to cuddle, play, sleep, ride in the car (not the bed of the truck) and go shopping in the pet stores. That is the very best, cause if you look up with these really big eyes, you always get the big bones and the best treats! I am looking for a really great family to continue showing me what love is all about and of course – the shopping! I really need you, don’t you need me too? |

My current foster family does not know where I came from originally because I just came walking up one day. I knew they would take good care of me and so far it has been great! I am very loving and sweet. I would love to have a family of my own that will take good care of me forever. I am crate-trained, housebroken and good with other dogs and children. They have not tested me with cats, but I keep telling them that I will just look, not touch. I promise!!!! Hi! My name is Sprite. I am a tan Pit Bull, 2 1/2 years old, on heartworm prevention, uptodate on vaxes, and weigh about 55 lbs. I was left tied up in someone's backyard to die. I had no shelter, food, or water. I was emaciated and knew that any day would be my last. Then I was rescued. What a wonderful day! I love people and am very playful now that I have learned not all people are bad. I really need to be an only dog. I can be around other dogs but shouldn't be left alone with them. I am crated trained but need work on housetraining. My rescuers are going to be very picky about where I go. They want to make sure I NEVER get in the type of situation I was in before. I deserve a chance but it has to be the right home. A 3 – 5 year vet reference is required. |

I want to tell you that I am just a sweetheart. I know, I know, I should be a little modest – but hey, I am great! I love kids, other dogs, lots of people, toys and good treats! I am great in the house, housebroken, crate-trained and never tear anything up. I was found hiding under an old truck out in a sod farm and was so scared that I just couldn’t come out and trust the nice lady who was trying to help me. I finally did, and now I am in this rescue group waiting on a forever home for me. I know there are lots of dogs out there needing a home, but please consider me. Hi. I am Rizzo, a 3 1/2 yr old lab mix. I weigh 65 lbs and am a brindle color. When I was found I was hungry and I was covered in fleas and ticks. This nice lady found me and took me home with her. She fed me, cleaned me up, got me all of my shots, got me neutered. She took really good care of me and now she is trying to find me a forever home.
